In Delaune against Paris SG this Saturday afternoon on behalf of the 6th day of D1, the girls of Stade de Reims suffered the law of a hardworking although sometimes clumsy Parisian team. Audacious at the start of the match, the Rémoises suffered, leaving the ball to their opponent. Unfortunately, they still hit the uprights twice and had a chance to come back. If the fighting spirit is strong and the gap between the two teams seems to be narrowing, it is still missing these small details that leave the big teams like PSG in front of Reims.

Year after year, Stade de Reims is improving. And the first quarter of an hour describes it. Undaunted, Rouge et Blanche showed maturity and tried to play with the first intention of playing for the opposing camp. The breathless, rhythmic game didn’t stand a chance. The first shots on target came before the quarter-hour mark. But neither Chossenotte on one side nor Karchaoui on the Parisian side offered the goalkeepers any real trouble. After a balanced first quarter of an hour, the Parisiennes decided to play higher, forcing the Rémoises to often clear the ball quickly. But Paris does not benefit from this. It took an error from Magou Doucouré to give Kadidiatou Diani a real chance. At the pivot, the French international strikes and is finally countered by Pasquereau (26th). Proof of the opposing pressure, it took a good reflex from Alvarado to push away an attempt after a corner. It was finally with a harmless cross before the break that Diani opened the scoring, after winning an aerial duel against Demehin. Alvarado beat the ball to enter the Reims goal. A final free kick on the way over and blocked by the Paris wall did not allow Dumornay to equalize before the break.
The return from the locker room was complicated for Rémoises. As soon as the fight resumed, the Parisiennes pushed to quickly take shelter. They achieved it thanks to Diani dropping a corner. With difficulties in the midfield since the entry of Grace Geyoro at the break, the Rémoises are under and evolving against. In one of them, Kessya Bussy tried her role as a soloist which she ended with a beautiful curling strike from the right that fell on the edge of the post (52nd). In the next action, Grace Geyoro fought against Alvarado. The opportunity for the Mexican goalkeeper to perform an impressive tap dance. Alvarado again had to intervene at close range to prevent Karchaoui from adding a third goal after the hour mark, after some superb collective action from PSG. Still able to believe in a comeback, the Rémoises are more dangerous. On the counter, Kessya Bussy dribbled past the goalkeeper and squared the ball perfectly (71st). But De Almeida saved his team from deep trouble. A few moments later, it was Kethna Louis who tried it in the distance. This time the top of the crossbar deflects the attempt (74th). The end of the match was even more chaotic. Bravely, the Rémoises continued their efforts against the ruling Parisiennes. Nothing else to mark. Here is a streak of invincibility that logically stops, even if the Red and White may have some regrets.
